Primeasia University is the Runner-up in ATN Bangla Debate Competition

The Primeasia University Debating Club is runners-up with a role in the government party in the shadow parliament, entitled “সরকার যথা সময়ে করোনার ভ্যাকসিন নিশ্চিত করতে পারবে”. Dhaka International University became the champion by taking part in the role of the opposition party. Debate for Democracy and ATN Bangla jointly organized a shadow parliament on Thursday morning, August 19, 2021 at FDC in Tejgaon.
Prof. Dr. Md. Sharfuddin Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Medical University was present as the Chief Guest and said, "Due to the increase of infections rate of Corona in India, we could not got 2.5 crore vaccine at that time. Now their infection has decreased. The Indian High Commission has also said that we will get the remaining 2.5 crore doses. In addition to 7 crore vaccines are coming from different countries. Negotiations are underway to get another 7 cores vaccines from Johnson & Johnson." He also said that between January and March 2022, 80 percent of the country's people will be vaccinated.
Mr. Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman of Debate for Democracy presented a 10-point recommendation to ensure the vaccine for 80% of the population.
It is to be noted that last June, Primeasia University became the unbeaten champion in the shadow parliament on the issue of "reasonable budget for the social security of marginalized people".
