Primeasia University, a private university, started academic program in different disciplines in engineering, science and business in 2003 with the approval of University Grants Commission, Govt. of Bangladesh. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, under the School of Engineering, started its program in 2008.

EEE

Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Primeasia University started its program in 2006. The bachelor’s program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering consists of 148 credits of which 6 credits for language courses, 18 credits for GED courses, 33 credits for general sciences, 73 credits for core courses and 18 credits for majors which is approved by the UGC.

Realizing the acute shortfall of Engineering and technological education in both private and public sector universities, a group of philanthropist created Primeasia Foundation and came forward to establish non-profit making and non-sectarian private university named Primeasia University to provide quality education in Science, Engineering and Technology.

Message

Faculty of Engineering one of the main important faculties of Primeasia University established in 2003 under the private university act of the government of Bangladesh. Faculty of Engineering offers different Bachelor. Engineering degree program of those B.Sc. in Textile (TXE), B.Sc. In Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), B.Sc. in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), and Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH). The course curriculum of different degree programs have been designed to develop graduates capable of critical thinking with positive attitude, meeting challenges, receiving and recognizing technological development. Graduates of Engineering Faculty are working in different government, semi government and non government organizations with reputation and all are employed. The degree programs of the Faculty of Engineering are conducted by a number of qualified, foreign trained and experienced faculty members who are experienced and committed to the profession. Apart from class room teaching, faculties provide counseling services to the students regularly for moral development and application of principles of ethics in decision making and action. The faculty of Engineering committed to help growing graduates as skillful, responsible and patriotic citizen of the country.

The university has adequate laboratory facilities for conducting Engineering courses along with related facilities. The university is providing congenial academic atmosphere for meaningful and quality engineering education.

The students who are aspiring to develop their career as professional leader are encourages to study in the Faculty of Engineering of the university.
