Microbiology is emerging as the key biological science. This area is concerned with the physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, ecology, biotechnology and uses of bacteria, fungi and viruses. Microorganisms provide the models used in molecular biology for research.

Pharmacy Department of Primeasia University offers 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy(Hons.) and one-year M.Pharm. degree courses which are duly approved by University Grants Commission, Govt. of Bangladesh and accredited by Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.

Message

Welcome to the web page of the Faculty of Biological Science of Primeasia University.

Today I am exceedingly proud to share information about our programs in the Faculty of Biological Science of Primeasia University. We have four departments under the umbrella of Faculty of Biological Science; these include departments of Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Public Health Nutrition. These departments have started functioning on 2003, 2003, 2008, and 2010 respectively with undergraduate courses. Subsequently in 2010, the departments of Pharmacy and Microbiology introduced graduate programs as well. Upon browsing the pages of these departments, one could discover the outstanding achievements of our students, faculty members and alumni, as we continue our respective professional activities aimed at human welfare.

Pharmacists, Microbiologists, Biochemists and Public Health Nutritionists, as the titles imply, are directly related to, and indispensible in the entire spectrum of our health care system. Graduates from these departments have enormous professional opportunities in Pharmaceutical Industries, Research and Development activities, Hospitals, Clinics, Community Settings, Academia of Public and private sectors.

We always keep in mind that ‘students are our assets’. Through dissemination of quality education to the students, our outstanding faculty members are constantly engaged in preparing them to face the global challenges in their respective professions.
